Statement of Commitment

Intellijoint Surgical is committed to respecting and upholding the requirements set forth
under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (2005), and its associated
standards and regulations. We ensure our organization's compliance by incorporating
accessibility standards into our policies, procedures, and facilities, and by reviewing these
policies and practices on an ongoing basis, as organizational changes occur, and in
anticipation of compliance deadlines. In addition, we strive to meet the needs of individuals
with disabilities in a timely and effective manner and in a way that maintains their dignity
and independence.

As an organization, we endeavor to provide equal access and participation for all individuals
who may enter our premises or use our service. This includes our employees, customers, job
applicants, visitors, suppliers and any other person(s). We also understand that we have a
responsibility for ensuring a safe, dignified, and welcoming environment for all individuals.

Information and communications

Intellijoint endeavors to create and provide information and communications in ways that
are accessible to people with disabilities. Upon request, Intellijoint will provide
organizational information and communications to its customers and the public, including
this policy and any public safety information, in an accessible format or with
communication support.

If Intellijoint determines that it is not technically feasible to convert the information or
communications or that the technology to convert the information or communications is not
readily available, Intellijoint shall, upon request, provide the person that requires the
information with an explanation as to why the information or communications are
unconvertible, and a summary of the unconvertible information or communications.

 

Accessible formats and communication support

Upon request, Intellijoint will provide or arrange for accessible formats and communication
supports for persons with disabilities at no cost and in a timely manner that considers the
person's accessibility needs in consultation with the person making the request.
This information and documentation will be provided as soon as is practicable, and specific
timeframes may vary depending on the format requested.
